“Astoria Provisions” to Replace Astor Bake Shop

A new restaurant is rising on the site of the former Astor Bake Shop, which closed in January. According to the Astoria Post, the new project will be a combination coffee shop/bakery/restaurant/gourmet grocery. John Parlatore, who also owns Gastroteca at 33-02 34th Avenue, plans to open sometime in the summer and will kick off the new restaurant with a barbecue for the community. We are all looking forward and appreciate further investment in our community. We hope all supporters of OANA can also support “Astoria Provisions”
