The Department of City Planning Looking For Input From Old Astoria Residents

The Department of City Planning launched a new website intended to strengthen the connection between residents and city planning designs. The new project will allow residents of Old Astoria to provide input to the design process principles to shape the neighborhood’s projects. The website can be found here.

The way our city looks and feels plays an important role in our quality of life. The Department of City Planning (DCP)s’ principles of place, equity, detail, and comfort help provide a foundation to this very belief. These principles also serve to guide every member of our community to preserve and expand the livability of our neighborhood. The new website also contains various features, including a space where residents can disclose important aspects about their neighborhood, share stories and pictures of your neighborhood, and give feedback on the principles of Good Urban Design.
